Fishing is a popular hobby among people for a relaxing and enjoyable pastime. It gives them a chance to connect with nature and spend time in leisure activities outdoors. But, fishing requires a skill and technique which is not easy to master. However, for star runner, lightning bolt, nothing is impossible.

The Olympic gold medalist is known for his fishing hobby and indulges in it whenever he gets a chance. In his recent social media story, he is seen fishing with friends. In the heroic snippet, he is seen pulling the fish which got caught in the hook. The type of fish caught by him was a surprise to many.

Lightning Bolt catches a Lightening Fish

In an Instagram story, the world 200m and 100m record holder shared his fishing adventure along with friends. The clip is presented with the quote “Nothing is safe from me“. In the clip, a fish is seen struggling to release herself from the thread. It jumps up in the air for a few seconds and again submerses in water. The struggle continues until it surrenders and the fish is pulled near the boat to take it up. In the end, Usain is seen giving thumbs-up with a smile as it took a lot of effort from him.

The fish which he caught was blue marlin and it was 104m long. It took Bolt almost thirty minutes to catch the fish. The world-famous sprinter turned musician is known for his fishing adventure and seen in the past fishing around his native island. He sees it as a challenging and relaxing activity. The blue marlin that he caught displays a stunning coloration, featuring a combination of bluish-gray on its dorsal side and a contrasting white shade on its belly and sides. Its remarkable swiftness sets it apart as is capable of reaching speeds surpassing 85 kilometers per hour. At the end of the day, he caught a blue marlin which is one of the fastest fish in the world. Apart from fishing, Bolt also holds multiple other talents that the world is aware of.

Usain Bolt’s other passions

After retiring from competitive sports, the Olympian indulged in various business and hobbies. He started some business ventures like clothing and electric scooter. Later on, in 2019 he got associated with football making his debut in Australia which proved to be a short stint. He left it after a year. During these times he pursued his childhood passion for music.  He established his own record label called “A-Team Productions” in 2009. Through this label, he aimed to promote and support talented artists in the Caribbean region.

In 2019, he produced his album Country Yutes and in 2021 his single “It’s a Party” topped the chart in the US. Apart from it, Bolt is associated with numerous charities and he gives them his support whenever he can. It seems that our Olympian medalist has caught a fish that resembles him in speed and also height. His passion and hard work are there even in his leisure time.
