In season 2023, the fight for gold between Jamaica and the USA took many twists and turns. At the World Athletics, Sha’Carri Richardson (10.65 seconds in 100m) and Noah Lyles (9.83 seconds in 100m and 19.51 seconds in 200m) stormed through the tracks of Budapest to secure Gold medals for Team USA. However, in the last battle of the season at the Diamond League finals, Jamaica gained back its sheer dominance as Richardson was surpassed by her Jamaican rival Shericka Jackson on the 100-meter tracks.
Interstingly, after the wrap of this season, a 400-meter sprinter who is frequently spotted showing her support for Noah Lyles congratulated Shericka Jackson recently. She took the opportunity to praise the athlete for an honorable achievement. After successfully securing gold in both the 100m and 200m races of the Diamond League final, Jackson was presented with an honorary award for her performance at the 2022 World Athletics. The athlete was able to secure gold by storming through the tracks in a remarkable time. Noah Lyles’ girlfriend, Junelle Bromfield wasted no time in showing her support with a $7 million reference for the 200-meter sprint queen.
