This season has been one of a kind for Noah Lyles. Despite facing disappointment in the last battle of the season, the athlete managed to grab a historic triple win at the 2023 World Athletics Championship. The American sensation also broke his tie with Usain Bolt for the most number of races under 20 seconds in 200m. To top it up, he even got a little retreat with his partner.

Only days after putting an end to a remarkable season, the athlete’s Jamaican girlfriend put some exciting plans for the two in motion. Remaining true to her words by treating Noah Lyles to a vacation, the power couple of track and field shared a snippet from their getaway at an unrevealed destination.

Noah Lyles shared a glimpse of his vacation with his girlfriend, Junelle Bromfield, on his Instagram story. In the picture, the athlete, while wearing white-framed glasses, was seen posing alongside Bromfield, who was throwing a ‘V’ sign pose in the air in a purple hoodie.

This gushing picture comes after Bromfield posted a story on Instagram promising Lyles to “have fun.” The Jamaican sprinter reposted an Instagram post of Noah Lyles announcing the end of his season with the caption “Time to have some fun.” And living up to her promise, Bromfield took her boyfriend on a special vacation, without releasing the location.

With all the peaks and valleys of Lyles’s career, a retreat was much deserved. Unfortunately, before planning to enjoy the rest of the year with Bromfield, the 26-year-old wrapped up his season with a defeat. The sprinter lost his Diamond League trophy to his teammate Christian Coleman on the 100m tracks of Oregon.
