On October 12, Noah Lyles’ Jamaican girlfriend supported Shericka Jackson on her Instagram story. Junelle Bromfield reposted the World Athletics post highlighting the nomination of Shericka Jackson for Women’s World Athlete of the Year. In the picture captioned “Female Athlete of the Year Nominee,” accompanied by a sparkling emoji, Shericka Jackson was spotted running on the Budapest tracks for the 2023 World Athletics Championship.
This support from Junelle Bromfield comes after the two Jamaican sprinters, along with Noah Lyles, were seen vacationing in Jamaica. The internet’s favorite trio was spotted enjoying dinner at a Japanese steakhouse and a pool party at a luxurious spa in Jamaica. The athletes also explored the serene greenery of Jamaica as they traveled the off-road, muddy trails in a 4×4 wheeler.
However, now, after enjoying the post-season shenanigans updates, the track and field fans look forward to the winner of the World Athlete of the Year award as both Sha’Carri Richardson and Shericka Jackson have clinched many extraordinary wins this season.

In season 2023, Sha’Carri Richardson and Shericka Jackson created history. In the 100-meter event, Richardson surpassed Jackson to clinch a win in under 10.65 seconds. After this win, the athlete became the world’s fastest woman alive in 100 meters. However, only days after the event, Jackson regained dominance as the athlete came one step closer to breaking Flo-Jo’s record on 200-meter tracks.
The 29-year-old athlete upped her world’s fastest woman-alive record in the set in 2022 by clocking in 21.41, while Richardson could only secure the third position. Apart from these wins, the two athletes have also won the 100m relay race and 100m Diamond League finals for their teams, respectively.
