Will Claye holds a bronze medal from the 2011 World Championships. He aspired to add gold to his achievements this year. Having set his objectives straight, the Olympic silver medalist competed in the triple jump event at the 2023 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships. Claye showed promise and finished second, advancing to the World Athletic Championships for the fifth time in his career.
