In a recent X post, Kiptum’s father opened up to the media with some unknown. Dan Chepta’s post reads, “Kelvin Kiptum’s Father reveals that four men showed up at home looking for Kelvin Kiptum four days ago and refused to identify themselves and he is asking the government to investigate”. A father’s instincts matter in a situation like this. Whether his plead will be considered or not is a matter of time now.

Moving on, another of Dan Chepta’s X posts has four questions directed to the authority. “Who handled this car last..? Who was on the road at that time he was driving…? What did he eat or drink last…? Who are the stranger people who went to Kiptum home 4 days ago..?” Since everyone was cognizant of Kiptum’s Olympic goals this year, the news of his passing has sent shock waves across the globe. But his family is especially broken, and his father’s words are sure to leave worldwide fans weeping.
