On November 1, Tide Line posted an intriguing clip from the Ready Set Go podcast of Justin Gatlin captioned “How Should We Honor the Greats” on X? In the video, five-time Olympian Justin Gatlin, while discussing the history of track and field, stated, “I think you really hit home with something. This video comes months after Gatlin played his homage to the G.O.A.T. of track and field, Usain Bolt. While discussing the journey of the track and field sensation, the ten-time World Champion stated, “He commanded the attention. He had a certain persona that was very rockstar-esque, and that draws you to see how one person can command almost a whole stadium just by a gesture; it is intoxicating to watch.”
Interestingly, apart from appreciating the athletics legends and providing more opportunities for the sport, Gatlin, who has retired from track and field, still keeps his spark for sports alive. Recently, the athlete revealed his new goal of surpassing NFL wide receiver John Ross’ record.
