The World Athletics finals are here. Top-notch athletes like Fred Kerley and Noah Lyles who surpassed Usain Bolt with the most 200-meter record in July, are ready to defend their 100- and 200-meter titles. In 2022 Noah Lyles, despite struggling with mental issues, ran the third fastest time in history to win the 200-meter title in the World Athletics Championship on the tracks of Oregon. The athlete ran through the tracks with a steady time of 19.31.

And now Noah Lyles is ready to defend his 200-meter title, as the track and field star can be seen posting his training updates for the final. Recently, the athlete posted another staunch practice video on Instagram, which made waves in the track and field community. Later in an interview, the athlete gave a breakdown of his training session.

Noah Lyles has started to gear up for the world championship. On August 11, the athlete posted a video storming through the tracks of Orlando, Florida, with the caption: Last 200-meter workout before the world, and it was my best one yet! And Later the same day, the athlete spoke about his training in an interview with NBC.

On August 12, an NBC sports director posted a short video from Noah Lyles’s interview with the caption, “Noah Lyles breaks down the best 200-meter workout he’s ever done.” In the video, the US star was asked about the details behind his new pre-World Championships workout.

Lyles, with a smile, revealed that this workout was the best one he’s ever had in his career, as the athlete stated, “It’s my favorite 200-meter workout. Me and my coach would do eighty of the blocks, then we’d come and run a 120 starting at the 150 mark, and then we will do one more 80. The athlete while comparing his training with the previous one revealed. “I have never really gotten it down to eight fly.”

Further, Lyles who is ready to take his performance to the next level and added, “This year I’m going to run like 7:99, and today I ran like 8:02 on a turn, and that’s the fastest I have ever been. We went to the 120, and I ran 11.6, and then we went back to the 80, and I ran 7.88.” The athlete, who is confident in his ability to defend his title, ended his answer by adding, “To say I’m ready for the Worlds is an understatement.”

This month has been an eventful one for Lyles. Apart from participating in the World Championship, the athlete is also sharing, never-seen-before glimpses of his journey with his fans. As Lyles is set to release a new documentary series with NBC.

Track and Field Star releasing a docu-series

Noah Lyles has partnered up with NBC to release a two-part documentary series named “Untitled: The Noah Lyles Project”. The series, which will be released on Peacock, will share scenes from Noah Lyle’strack and field Journey. The first part of the series will be released in August, only one day before the World Championship. And, in the first part of the series, fans will get to know never-before-seen details about the sprinter’s staunch wins at the Paris Diamond League, the Racers Grand Prix in Jamaica, and his race in New York.

The first part will also cover his conversation with his idol, Jamaican legend Usain Bolt. The second part of the series will be released next Monday in September, before the Diamond League Final. This part will cover the efforts of an Olympian to defend his title at the World Championship.
