The 23-year-old American superstar created the world record and also tied with Jackson for the fastest time of the year. Richardson led the charge against the Jamaican rivals once again in the 200-meter final. Sadly, she lost the race to Shericka Jackson and walked away with the bronze medal. It’s safe to say that their rivalry remains fervent, with tensions escalating on the track. In the current context, Noah Lyles’s girlfriend, Junelle Bromfield, has shared a picture on her Instagram account featuring herself alongside Shericka Jackson. In the Instagram story, the two women were laughing, while the caption read “Jacko”, with a red heart symbol, which expressed their deep feelings for each other.

The photo was taken in Zurich where both Sha’Carri Richardson and Shericka Jackson will face off one more time. Tonight, the two battled in the final 100-meter race for the Zurich Diamond League. Bromfield’s post indicates her support for both Jackson as she prepares to face off Richardson in a highly anticipated showdown. This is not the first time that Bromfield has expressed her loyalty to the Jamaican athlete.

Bromfield skipping out on congratulating Richardson may be tied to the years of rivalry between them. This would make it natural for Bromfield to keep the American 100-meter world champion at arm’s length.
