American sprinting icon Alyson Felix is a force to be reckoned with in the track and field realm. With 11 Olympic medals framed on her wall of fame, she is one of the most decorated sprinters of all time. However, not only does she assert inspiration through her incredible feat on the tracks, but she also serves as an epitome for millions across the globe through her words of wisdom. Likewise, the sprinter once again left her fans to ponder over her unfeigned perspective.
Likewise, recently, she took part in Gwyneth Paltrow’s In Goop Health Wellness-centric summit in Santa Monica. Soon, the show became a treat to watch and listen to when the former athlete made her heart out in explaining her transformation throughout the time.?

Allyson Felix shows emotion and motivation at the same time?
The Athleta handle on IG has shared a glimpse of the show. With Gwyneth and Allyson, Cameron Diaz, the Hollywood superstar, and Amy Griffin, founder of G9 Ventures, shared the stage on that day. In the video, Allyson started explaining the time when she was unable to take her voice up for the cause.
She noted, “as an athlete for so long, I’ve had to be hyper focused on just the performance? And I think I was so focused on that for such a long time, I didn’t realize that I had power, that I could speak, that I could use my voice in different capacities.” For the change she experienced later, Allyson revealed the pregnancy period as the reason.?
Later, in the video she continued her tone. She went up saying, “… it’s ok. It’s a journey to get there. It’s about discovering it.” In the stated panel, Allyson took part not just as an athlete, but also as the founder of the athletic footwear range, Saysh. The emergence of the brand came as a belligerent protest against Nike’s debated maternal policy in 2019. Later, Nike made amends and negotiated a deal with the former world champion after facing backlash, including from Allyson herself.?

However, that was not enough to ease Allyson Felix off. The athlete took the 2020 Tokyo Olympic as the debutant stage of her shoes, Saysh One. She wore those in winning the gold in the 400m relay race in that Olympic. Nonetheless, that medal made her the most decorated track and field athlete from the USA, surpassing Carl Lewis.?

The unfinished race for Allyson Felix?
Allyson has no regrets about leaving the game. Moreover, she enjoyed her last public race in Los Angeles. It was a charity race where Allyson ran hand-to-hand with her daughter. That might be a signature start to her post-retirement life. However, Allyson has admitted that she still misses the fun and thrill of the championships.?

Now, the athlete-turned-mom gives voices to women’s empowerment and owns Saysh. Though, the Gwyneth Paltrow-hosted show had most of the women-empowering side of Allyson. In the conversation, Allyson stressed the time factor for everything. She continued to say that the most meaningful wins take time, be it for anyone in the race.?

Capitalizing on that factor, she has introduced many groundbreaking rules in her brand. Some of those are definitely for pregnant employees or customers. That exuberance might have been at the core when the champion athlete was featured on the Times’s cover two consecutive times.
