Home/Track & Field

Sha’Carri Richardson has always been vocal in promoting her style statement. Her bedazzled nails, hair shades, and wigs have gathered a different fan following for her at the corner. Her mindset regarding maintaining the fashion quotient also has a presence of its own. Recently, she took it to a higher level by invoking the track and field sports realm. In her interaction with Essence, Sha’Carri steadfastly argued, “I feel like track and field sometimes does a disservice, especially on the women’s side, by creating a certain narrative of how the track woman should look.” So is there anything in mind to break the shackle? Maybe something huge!

Well, Sha’Carri Richardson always comes with a plan. This time, she wants to break the “narrative.” Fortunately, she has landed a massive opportunity to feature with Drake. Wait! Isn’t that something she has always been looking for? A lot of things are going on in Sha’Carri’s life at the moment.

A video of Latto and that is witnessing too many stars in one plate. On December 9, the American rapper dropped an Instagram post promoting her one-stop-shop, Big Mama’s Mini Market. The commercial has everything on the list, starting from deodorant and mouth freshener to eggs. In the meantime, the promotion also shows Sha’Carri Richardson in a glimpse. Yes, Sha’Carri is in The Big Latto’s shop promotion! But what was she doing there? The sprinter, in fact, campaigns for Mama’s Salon, spilling “opening up next door.” She appears on the screen, putting on her glossy wig and eye shades. Now, the 32-second long connects the strings with Drake. How?

On December 9, Drizzy shared the snippet on his Instagram feed with a special caption. In the one-line caption, he wrote, “BIG MAMA GON GET YA RIGHT @nike @officialnocta.” That ultimately connects the dots. Being the co-founder of Nocta, Drake has the responsibility of promoting the brand. However, his recent collaboration with Nike has promised to bring the Nike Nocta Air Force 1 to the market. Notably, in the promotional video, Latto, at last, flaunts the sneakers in various shades. She also reveals her personal favorite shade, pink. That collaboration ultimately attaches both Sha’Carri Richardson and the 6 God singer in the same string. But hasn’t that been on Sha’Carri’s list for a long time?
