The entire track and field community is on their toes to witness the results of the World Athletics Awards to be held in December 2023. The countdown for this event has begun as all the finalists’ names have been announced. One of the most loved names of the track and field realm, Noah Lyles, is also eager to win this title.

Lyles has attained multiple achievements in his career and has always had the drive to nab wins. With the World Athlete of the Year Award coming up, he is all girded up to add this to his list of accolades. The 26-year-old shared a message on social media speculating his win with his achievements this season.

After being declared as one of the finalists in the World Athletics of the Year Award 2023, Noah Lyles cannot stop himself from going into the depth of this. He took to his X account to share a message and raise speculation of him winning on 11th of December 2023, keeping his extraordinary accomplishments in mind.

Lyles shared a photo posted by the World Athletics of him clinching gold and expressed, “Is the triple enough to get World Athletes of the Year?” This question filled his comment section with guesses and answers.

He kept his triple win – which is one of the major highlights of Lyles’ career and of the Budapest World Championships – in consideration for his win. Lyles beautifully clinched gold in the 100m, 200m, and the 4×100 relay.

The extraordinary feat of the American track sensation

The track and field sensation Noah Lyles had the time of his life at the World Athletics Championship in Budapest. He created one of the highlights of his career by stealing the legend Usain Bolt’s long-standing record after 15 years. He won the 100m and 200m in the championship and joined the elite list of athletes.

He is the seventh man in the world to achieve this feat. With this, he joined the list of legends Maurice Greene – who did this in 1999, Justin Gatlin who attained the same in 2005, and Tyson Gay in 2007. And then is Usain Bolt, who achieved the remarkable feat three times in his career. With this triumph, Lyles got his name etched in track and field history and has a high chance of winning the World Athlete of the Year Award.
