Hunter Woodhall can’t stop gushing about Tara Davis-Woodhall

On December 14, the Paralympian shared a snippet on YouTube shorts of his wife walking into a room full of hopeful young girls. Set to Billie Eilish’s What Was I Made For, he captioned the video, “POV you get to watch your wife inspire the next generation.” Being the ever-so-supportive husband, Hunter couldn’t help but cheer for Tara Davis-Woodhall as she dazzled the entire room with her infectious energy. 

Where was the Golden Couple, you ask? After winning the Olympic gold medal in the City of Light, the long jumper returned home to North Texas on December 4. Vanguard High School invited the 25-year-old for a special meet and greet. However, she turned this into something more memorable. The Olympian partook in the “She’s Got More” event, held in collaboration with Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas, Powerade, and Girls Inc.’s mission to empower young women. 

The Mesquite native visited students from the girls’ track teams across MISD, and two Vanguard students even led a powerful panel discussion. In the YouTube short, Tara Davis-Woodhall replicated her crowd work from Stade de France. As she shared her inspiring story, Hunter Woodhall couldn’t help but beam throughout the entire event. However, the long jumper has played an essential role in her partner’s life as well.

In an interview with GQ Sports, the 25-year-old marveled over his relationship, reiterating how the Olympian has constantly understood and supported him since they met. In fact, he even admitted that it’s almost like she can read his mind. On the other hand, beyond the support, the long jumper has helped make his tough days seem more manageable. Track and Field community falls head over heels for the Golden Couple

Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall turned heads after their stunning performance in the City of Love. However, fans loved watching the Paralympian wholeheartedly support his wife during their time at the Vanguard High School. One fan exclaimed, “I’m in tears seeing how he is supportive of her accomplished goal” The 25-year-old has never shied away from hyping the Olympian up. Another fan agreed, “Love seeing Hunter being her biggest cheerleader ❤️” Throughout the short, the Paralympian can’t help but smile at his wife. A fan added, “You must be so proud. This moment was reminiscent of their time in Stade de France. The long jumper’s 7.10m was worthy of a shiny Olympic gold. However, after celebrating her win in the sandpit, she ran towards the 25-year-old before jumping into his arms. But here’s the best part! Through tears of joy, he reassured her that she was now the Olympic champion. Watching the duo embrace collectively melted everyone’s heart, and he continues to support her every chance he gets.

While he missed a spot in the T64 100m, Davis-Woodhall reassured him that he would walk away a champion.
