The entire track and field community and the athletes are all girded up for the upcoming World Athletics Indoor Tour. Multiple renowned faces of the track world are running here in the competition, including Noah Lyles. The World Athletics Indoor Tour is an annual series of indoor track and field meetings that was first initiated in 2016.

This is now one of the prestigious platforms for all track athletes and has multiple recognitions for athletes. Lyles is ready to prove his prowess in this competition and nab the prize money. Starting from 29th December 2023, this tour will go on for almost 3 months. Here is the panoramic view of everything Lyles can attain in this prestigious event.

A take on the paycheque of the Indoor Meet

Noah Lyles after having a successful 2023 season, is all set to nab the wins at Indoor Grand Prix with his sixth appearance here. A recent update speculating the income and other things has been making rounds all over the internet. An insider FitzDunk shared a video on his Instagram account where he is seen making multiple assumptions about the upcoming Indoor meet which will take place from the 29th Of December 2023 to the 3rd of March, 2024.

Multiple athletes will be gracing the event with their presence, but not all of them will be equally paid for their performances. The events that will be getting paid are Women’s 400m, 1500m, 60m hurdles, high jump, and long jump. Adding to it, the men’s 60m, 3000m/5000m, pole vault, triple vault, triple jump, and shot put will be getting paid. The athletes participating in these events will get $3000 for winning each of these meets.

Noah Lyles for participating in his expertise will be getting the same, and not just this, if he succeeds in attaining the most points then he will be given a bonus of $10,000. Some of the athletes also have indoor bonuses in their contracts. If Noah Lyles does, then it adds to his income in this event as well. Apart from him, a few other renowned faces will be joining him at the event.

Athletes to watch out for other than Noah Lyles?

Apart from Noah Lyles, other players to participate are Gabby Thomas and Jake Wightman. With Lyles nabbing his win at the men’s 60m dash by creating a personal best of 6.51, Thomas also won the 300m at last year’s event. She won the first prize by clocking a time of 36.31 giving a stupendous start to her 2023 season.

Wightman on the other hand did not perform at all in the 2023 season due to a nagging injury. Due to this, he was not able to defend his title in Budapest. This upcoming Indoor event will be his first race since January 8, 2023. The enthusiasts have their eyes glued on the screen to witness the next extraordinary steps of the athletes in this competition.
