Ahead of Kanye West’s collaborative new album ‘Vultures’ release, with rapper Ty Dolla $ign, there seems a lot of ranting. The American rapper approached the Trinidadian rapper and singer for a clearance request for a song they both recorded in 2018, but never released. He shared a screenshot of the text message to Minhaj that read, “Hi it’s ye, May I call you about clearing new body on the new album”. However, Nicki Minhaj went live on Instagram and rejected his request citing the song’s age and said, “That train has left the station, OK? No disrespect in any way. I just put out a brand new album. Why would I put out a song that has been out for three years?”
Just hours later, during the Vultures listening party in Las Vegas, Mr. West was seen criticizing Nicki for not supporting him. “I made that girl rewrite her verse three times for Monster. I supported her career. So I don’t know what it is,” he said. While the entertainment world awaited to see what’s next, Kanye threw the spotlight on a friend from the past. In a recent snippet that’s making the rounds, Ye sampled Sha’Carri Richardson, a track and field star from Dallas. Now that the Vultures album is set to release on December 31 due to crediting issues, music fans and Sha’Carri fans will look forward to this release.

Sha’Carri Richardson entered the 2022 season with utter confidence after a year of struggles and personal loss. Sha’Carri’s words are certainly inspiring and make for a solid sample for a soundtrack. But just like Yezzy using lines from her speech, the 26-year-old American track and field athlete has quoted lines from his speech in the past.
Before the Kip Keino Classic in Nairobi, Kenya, in May, she shared a powerful message on her Instagram story.
