Dating since 2022, the track and field couple have been vocal supporters of each other and their relationship has captured the attention of fans in both the US and Jamaica. The news of their engagement was shared by them on Instagram and Lyles promised her fiancee, “We’re going to grow old together, and it’s going to be forever.” Now, they have taken another step in their new life as Lyles surprised Bromfield with her first home in America.

A few days ago we saw them engage in a hilarious back-and-forth, a video of which was uploaded on Instagram. In the video, we saw Lyles complaining to one of their mutual friends about Bromfield, “She packed away all the silverware except for four forks!”
To this, the Jamaican answered, “Think about it though Abby, we have to move, so we have to pack everything,” while adding that she has never moved before. So that part of Bromfield’s life is now complete but the journey of them getting here hasn’t been without challenges.
Noah Lyles helped Junelle Bromfield overcome her darkest days
Junelle Bromfield and Noah Lyles have faced struggles throughout their relationship, particularly before the Paris Olympics. As one of Track and Field’s power couples, they became targets of a smear campaign that aimed to create tension between them. This pressure continued even after the Summer Games, overshadowing a time that should have been filled with celebration.
Nevertheless, amidst these challenges, Noah’s heartfelt proposal brought a glimmer of hope, allowing them to envision a brighter future together.

The couple decided to relocate to Florida and it was a crucial step in their journey, but it was not without its obstacles. Junelle, who was living in Jamaica, revealed in a June 13 episode of The Powell’s Fast Lane Lifestyle podcast that she had been dealing with significant personal issues back home, including the loss of several family members.
These experiences took a toll on her mental health, making her feel overwhelmed even as she focused on her training. While exploring options for training camps, she initially considered groups in both Texas and Florida but ultimately chose to join Gary Steele’s group in Florida.
This decision not only provided her with a supportive training environment but also brought her closer to Lyles, who lived just 30 minutes away. However, transitioning from Jamaica to the U.S. presented financial challenges for her, as she found that the cost of living, including housing prices, was significantly different from what she was accustomed to back home.

But, their struggles didn’t end with the move. Following Noah’s controversial remarks about drama within Jamaican athletics, Junelle became the target of cyberbullying and even received death threats, making her fearful of returning to Jamaica. Fortunately, Noah Lyles stood by her side, offering support during these difficult times. As they look ahead, they are committed to facing their challenges together and embracing the new beginnings that await them in their life as an engaged couple.
