Is it fair to say Beyoncé's influence reaches even the most focused athletes like Lyles and Bromfield?

Among the most convenient things for Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield is that their disciplines are the same. Just like Hunter and Tara Davis-Woodhall, Lyles and Bromfield have the privilege of training together. The 100m Olympic gold medalist uses the privilege to give fans a deeper look at their training sessions by streaming them for fans to see. However, even a serious session can take a hilarious turn.

Such was the case when the 2024 GQ Men of the Year nominee streamed a full training session with his future wife on YouTube. “We’re going to warm up, then we’re going to do like a complex. So we’ll do stuff like abs, jumping, bounding,” Lyles explained to Bromfield and the live audience. Meanwhile, the Jamaican sprinter proved that she wasn’t paying any attention to Lyles’s words.

However, Junelle Bromfield’s attention was somewhere else. “Was that Beyoncé that I saw on the wall just there?” asked the sprinter while Noah Lyles discussed cardio. The hilarious question made Lyles laugh. “My fiancée is very distracted,” said the Olympic champion when Bromfield realized she had been ignoring Lyles and the livestream.

“I’m sorry for distracting you can continue,” apologized the Olympian. “Can I?” the 27-year-old retired. “I mean yeah you can continue, I’m sorry. Beyoncé distracted me..” claimed Bromfield. However, the Olympic bronze medalist asked whether Queen B would be performing a concert in LA before apologizing. She even shared the clip on X, with the caption, “I love Queen B.”

And while the 100m Olympic gold medalist revealed that Beyoncé won’t be performing in LA, Bromfield justified her actions.

“Beyoncé would distract a lot of people to be fair,” said the Jamaican track and field. This was a claim even Noah Lyles couldn’t deny, as he agreed with his fiancée. “Yeah, she definitely would, she definitely would,” agreed the defending world champion.

However, Junelle Bromfield won’t have to wait too long to catch Queen Bey in action. In fact, the sprinter may even find a fellow Olympic medalist for company. And no, it’s not her three-time Olympic medalist fiancé.

Noah Lyles’ fiancée shares her love for Beyoncé with an Olympic gymnast

Another athlete who would wholeheartedly agree with Junelle Bromfield’s statement is none other than Jordan Chiles. To say Chiles is a Beyoncé superfan may be an understatement. She is the only gymnast who took paying homage to her idol to a whole new level at the 2024 U.S. Championships. The gymnastics champion sported custom-made leotards inspired by the Grammy Award winner’s 2023 Renaissance World Tour. But wait. There’s more!

Chiles also admitted to painstakingly going through the singer’s entire Instagram page to come up with the inspired designs. So when the pop star recently announced she’d be part of the half-time show during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans Christmas Day game, Chiles couldn’t contain her excitement. The Olympic gold medalist even ditched her family gathering for the upcoming event.

“Sorry to all my family, I will be here!!!!!!!” wrote the Olympian while sharing the video on her Instagram story. So Noah Lyles’ future wife won’t have to wait too long if she wants to catch Beyoncé performing live. The Jamaican track and field icon won’t be short of company, either, as Jordan Chiles plans to attend her icon performance at all costs.
