Yohan Blake is a 33-year-old Jamaican track and field legend and a two-time world champion. The Jamaican had suffered a brutal injury back in 2014, which greatly affected his career. Recently, he made a shocking revelation that the injury still haunts him. Despite this, the two-time Olympic gold medalist is trying his hardest to make it to the Olympics in Paris.

Yohan Blake has seen almost all aspects of an athletic career that one can experience. He has enjoyed limitless success, been overshadowed by a GOAT in his time, and also suffered a massive injury. With 9.69 seconds on the clock in 100m and 19.26 seconds in 200m, he is the second fastest man of all time. He was seen as the true heir of Usain Bolt?s legacy at one time. However, he met a massive hamstring injury in 2014 that nearly ended his career.
Track Spice recently tweeted a recently made statement of Yohan Blake that shocked the world. According to Blake,??I’m still running with aluminum in my leg, I’m trying.??
The Jamaican track and field phenom also mentioned hearing his hamstring pop in the cold weather of Glasgow in 2014. He said that he knows that most of his injuries occurred due to his own relentless pursuit.

While he admitted to pushing his body too far and not resting enough, he said he doesn?t regret any of it. In fact, he is still pushing himself to qualify for the Paris Olympics.
