Armand ?Mondo? Duplantis overpowered all odds, including himself, one more time to diminish the competition. The Swedish pole vaulter achieved a new record height of 6.23 meters.

In fact, the 23-year-old legend now holds the top seven positions in the global leaderboard. This shows that Mondo is in a class of his own, as nobody can even top his seventh-highest vault.

Mondo?s terrific triumph garnered him a multitude of regards from across the globe. He had previously touched his 6.22-meter record back in February. This made several fans think that the 6.22-meter mark would stay at the top for some time. However, Duplantis had other plans. The Eugene Diamond League triumph marked his third 6.20 meter plus vault as he reset the highest benchmark once again.

Duplantis had earlier earned everyone?s applause at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest with a 6.10-meter vault. The phenomenal youngster now looks towards the grand stage of Paris, as he is all set to deliver yet another record breaking performance in the French capital.
