Harrowing news emerged today after vacationers were left traumatized as a child from Maryland was bitten by a shark while enjoying vacation time in the Bahamas. While participating in an expedition inside a shark tank in a local resort, the 10-year-old was bitten on the right leg, informed the Royal Bahamas Police. Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings didn’t show much interest in disclosing the name of the resort in question but mentioned formal investigations would follow.

The details of the shark attack have given way to multiple speculations as to what exactly happened to the child. With that, an uproar demanding more immediate details about the incident has been sweeping the region, giving rise to a sense of urgency among the travelers who have been looking forward to some quality time with family and friends.

Another woman in Mexico also recently was killed after a shark attacked her while she was enjoying the waters with her toddler.
