Carson Foster brought back the memories of Leon Marchand on day 3 in the 400m IM of the Pro Series 2024. After that, he once again showcased his prowess at Knoxville on the final day. Captivating the attention of all the spectators, Foster yet again stood atop the podium after clinching gold in the men’s 200 IM.

On the way, he faced a head-to-head competition by Trenton Julian. That, however, could not deter Foster from touching the yellow line ahead of everyone else.

Carson Foster continues winning streak at TYR Pro Swim Series

The American prodigy is on fire in the 2024 iteration of the TYR Pro Swim Series. He hopped on a winning spree on day 3 of the competition and continued it until the final day. He reigned in the 200m Individual Medley Race after subjugating in the 400m IM. He got the better of his counterparts by cruising towards the final wall in a time of 1:58.83. 

He left behind his American counterpart Trenton Julian, who clocked a time of 1:58.89. They gave a terrific showdown to witness, and the spectators couldn’t apprehend who would clinch the gold in this one. However, ending the curiosity, Foster nabbed the win by being just a few seconds ahead. After them, in the third position, was Grant House with a timeframe of 1:59.02. 

Carson Foster, with this win, ended up winning two golds in the TYR Pro Swim Series. His last race was also remarkable. Given the vicinity of the Olympics, another name that comes to mind after Carson’s performance in 400IM is Leon Marchand.

Carson Foster, a tough competition for Leon Marchand?

On day 3 of the TYR Pro Swim Series, the spectators at Knoxville were stunned after seeing Foster’s ascendancy in the 400m IM. He showcased the energy of Leon Marchand in the event drawing parallels with Marchand. These two have been seen together in multiple races and with the French swimmer not present in the TYR Pro Swim Series, Foster shines brightly.

He outdid the 2023 Golden Goggle’s male of the year Bobby Finke, who secured the second position, by clocking the timeframe of 4:18.61. In the third position stood Jay Litherland with a score of 4:18.70. Carson’s timing of 4:13.04 was good enough to bring him the golden glory. However, it has to see a lot of improvement to match or outdo Leon Marchand, who stands tallest in 400IM with 4:02.50 demolishing Michael Phelps. However, anticipations have started flying!
