The interviewee asked him if he was worried about how things were going in the country then. Given the fact that he had two growing kids, Phelps kept his view on the table. “It is tough and frustrating at times, but we can’t control that. I can’t go down to the White House, knock on the president’s door and say, ‘You’ve got to change this’. It’s not going to happen,” said the swimming G.O.A.T.

According to Phelps, they only focus on themselves and things that have something to do with them. They apply this secret in their day-to-day life and keep it simple.
“There are a lot of things that are frustrating about the world we live in today, and Nicole and I are always two people who try to stay in our lane, focus on what we have to do, and what we have to do with our kids,” added the athlete.
