Tackling Daily Battles, Michael Phelps and Wife Receive Perfect Thanksgiving Gift

The post-retirement life has come as bliss for Michael Phelps. The swimming sensation bid adieu to his favorite sports after the 2016 Summer Olympics. Since then, Phelps has been keeping himself busy engaging with the matters he prefers most. The Phelps family has become a regular sight on the occasions of swimming championships or Baltimore Ravens’ NFL matches or the F1 races. They keep updating their social media family regularly about these. 

In a similar line, recently, Michael Phelps and his wife Nicole took to Instagram to post their new Thanksgiving gifts received from different corners. The internal stories meant something different this time.

Michael Phelps and Nicole are expecting their fourth child. Nicole flaunted her baby bump in Michael’s Thanksgiving post on IG. Remembering the pregnancy journey, Nicole now thanked the Greyson Clothiers for the new dress she bought from their Greyson Women clothing range. She mentioned the reason as “Everything is so cute!! The vest is amazing, it even fits my prego belly”. However, for the Baltimore Bullet, the reason for elation remained different.

Michael took to IG to share his new read, Kick Anxiety’s Ass, authored by Bhrett McCabe. He expressed his eagerness in the caption that read, “Can’t wait to read!” Previously Michael Phelps had engaged with Bhrett McCabe in a detailed talk, MENTAL GAME LIVE! on the mental state. In that conversation, the most decorated Olympian expressed his take on the matter. He admitted, “When I would look in a mirror… I would see a swimmer, not a person,…” expressing his situation in 2014. However, that wasn’t the only time Michael Phelps spoke about his mental health struggles. 

Michael Phelps’ coping up strategy 

Michael Phelps has been vocal about mental health struggles throughout the time. In 2015, he revealed this matter in a detailed manner to Sports Illustrated. He also empathized with all those athletes who were going through the same patch in their careers. However, Michael Phelps never forgot to take her wife Nicole’s name as the supporting factor.

In an interview with Today, the 37-year-old GOAT explained Nicole as the constant in his life. Michael claimed, “For 15 years, Nicole has seen me go up and down, there’s no other person that would be able to support me like she has. She’s the glue that holds all of us together”.  Now, on the eve of a new member joining the pack, the couple seems trying to match the situation in their own way.
