The Australian swim team is currently caught in a fix between three of its most prolific swimmers, Cody Simpson, Emma McKeon, and Kyle Chalmers. From being a renowned singer to making it to the Australian Swim Team, Cody Simpson has a story worth admiring. Though a decision from his girlfriend Emma McKeon’s ex has crushed his hopes to compete in the world championships. However, the Aussie swimmer will be part of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Cody Simpson will not be competing in the world championship
As per reports, Cody was on the team for the world championship as the second qualifier Kyle Chalmers was unavailable because of his busy schedule. But now, for reasons perhaps only known to Kyle, he back-flipped from his decision to drop out of the world championship. This means Cody has to try again next time.

Media houses all around the globe claim that an alleged love triangle involving Cody, Emma, and Kyle has influenced his decision to compete in the world championship after dropping out initially. However, there are no factual reports proving the same.
Cody, too, has denied the rumors about any sort of love triangle and said, “we had the chance to kind of clear the air and he is obviously in his right. He qualified second. So I respect whatever decision he wanted to make, but we are excited to race in Birmingham again.”
