?We’re Scared?: Viral Clip of Deadly Sharks Trying to Break Down a Fishing Boat Raises Concerns

In 2022, two marine biologists, Mike Heithaus, and Sara Casareto, were on a mission to discover the frequent shark attacks on the boats. The whole journey was documented in National Geographic as ?Jaws vs Sharks.? After the experience of shark attacks, Heithaus told Newsweek that shark attacks on boats can be motivated for food, or they can get annoyed seeing someone else taking their space, or they just simply get overwhelmed by seeing something inanimate.?

So, here are the different reasons for sharks attacking boats and none of the above can be decreased. Recently, a massive bull shark was captured attacking a fishing boat in the sea in Riviera Beach, Florida. The video went viral after the shark continued its attack eight times on the boat. It raised concerns about the safety measures of fishermen on the sea.?

Massive bull shark attacks a boat and rips out the motor

On 25th July, a videographer was shooting the scenic beauty of the beaches in Florida and he caught two huge 6 feet and 150 lbs cobia fish swimming with a bull shark in the sea. He then called his fisherman friend with his boat ?Slob City Charters? to witness the once-in-a-lifetime moment and to catch the Cobias. There were 5-6 people on the boat unknown of the upcoming terrifying accident and were enjoying the lovely afternoon. But soon they realized the terror when all of a sudden the shark attacked the engines of the boat.

The shark attacked the boat five straight times and then swam away, but not for too long. He came back and attacked the engines and motor a few more times, making it a total of eight times attacks. After reaching the dock, Carl, the fisherman, noticed that the motor was ripped off. He said, ?We weren?t expecting the damage we had when we got back to the dock and it was just astronomical. The whole middle of the engine is completely ripped out, the trim tab?s broken. And I didn?t think a shark could actually shake the boat like that. The boat was shaking like a bag of popcorn. Literally, I was shaking like an earthquake. I was like, what?s going on?? When he went back, he noticed that it was all done by the sharks. It not only left him shocked and fearful but the netizens were left stunned too.?

The videographer captured the whole incident on his camera and expressed his fear at which the fans reacted. A user hilariously said, ?It?s all the damn cocaine they?re chompin on lately.? Some other users also made similar comments, saying, ?Cocaine Shark, he’s Def on lines.? Another Instagram user said, ?Bull sharks really have anger management issues man.? A fan indicated the friendship between the Cobia and shark by saying, ?Bull shark just protecting his cobia buddies.? Another netizen expressed his fear by saying, ?Yep we?re scared.?

The viral footage of the Riviera Beach horror raised concern among the fishing community, however this is not the first time when a shark attacked on boat.
