In Calcasieu Lake, Louisiana, a dolphin sighting has captured everyone’s attention once again. Back in 2007, an albino bottlenose dolphin named Pinky was discovered by boat captain Erik Rue. Pinky has since become a popular attraction for tourists, but conservationists urge visitors to respect her space.

While Pinky behaves similarly to other dolphins in her group, she tends to spend more time underwater. Her name reflects both her frequent dwelling place and her unique skin color. In 2017, a heartwarming video surfaced, featuring two albino dolphins, believed to be Pinky and her calf, gracefully swimming in the same river.?
