The Cuban wrestler will have to compete with the world’s best wrestlers such as Ravi Kumar from India, Haji Aliyev from Azerbaijan and Mohammed Reza Geraei from Iran.

After this, Lopez will contest in the World Championships in Belgrade in September 2023. Here, wrestlers will have the opportunity to boost their chances to be selected for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.
