Adam Peaty has continuously been dismayed at the Swimming World Cup 2023. The athlete representing Great Britain has repeatedly lost the 100m breaststroke events. In the first leg of the Swimming World Cup, the athlete could not secure a position, while Qin Haiyang won the event with a new World record under his name. In light of these events, Adam Peaty, who has been eyeing to regain his dominance, rekindled the hopes of his fans. The athlete left a supportive message for his fans on social media one day before the highly anticipated last leg of the Swimming World Cup to be held in Budapest this weekend.

On October 17, Adam Peaty posted a few snapshots on Instagram as he is “getting ready for round three in Budapest .” In the picture, the athlete, while showing off his physique, was seen posing in front of the venue of the last stop of the Swimming World Cup 2023. The athlete also posted a video of training using swimming paddles in the waters of Budapest. Furthermore, while enjoying a boat ride with his competitors, the British swimmer also posted a few pictures with Thomas Ceccon and the other great swimmers, including Lani Pallister, Sarah Sjostrom, and Nic Fink

Intriguingly, in the caption, Peaty also left a message for his fans while discussing his preseason endeavors. The swimmer stated, “It’s been really a productive preseason for me so far, and I am looking forward to building on my last few performances in Berlin and Athens.” This message comes from the five-time  Olympian after facing back-to-back defeats in the two legs of the Swimming World Cup. Peaty has only secured two medals in the highly anticipated event till now.

As of now, Adam Peaty, representing Great Britain in the pools, has only secured two medals in the event. In the 50-meter breaststroke event in Berlin, the athlete had to settle for the third position by touching the wall in 26.98. Following this, in the 50m breaststroke event of the second leg of the Swimming World Cup 2023, Adam Peaty could only secure the silver in 26.89. Apart from these wins, Peaty has been constantly disappointed in the water. In both 100-meter breaststroke events, the swimmer had to settle for the sixth position.
