On October 17, Adam Peaty posted a few snapshots on Instagram as he is “getting ready for round three in Budapest .” In the picture, the athlete, while showing off his physique, was seen posing in front of the venue of the last stop of the Swimming World Cup 2023. The athlete also posted a video of training using swimming paddles in the waters of Budapest. The swimmer stated, “It’s been really a productive preseason for me so far, and I am looking forward to building on my last few performances in Berlin and Athens.” This message comes from the five-time Olympian after facing back-to-back defeats in the two legs of the Swimming World Cup. Peaty has only secured two medals in the highly anticipated event till now.

In the 50-meter breaststroke event in Berlin, the athlete had to settle for the third position by touching the wall in 26.98. Following this, in the 50m breaststroke event of the second leg of the Swimming World Cup 2023, Adam Peaty could only secure the silver in 26.89. Apart from these wins, Peaty has been constantly disappointed in the water. In both 100-meter breaststroke events, the swimmer had to settle for the sixth position.
