In the video, 22-year-old Ceccon, after participating in the 100-meter freestyle, was spotted taking off his goggles and Team USA cap while looking over the scoreboard.

Nonetheless, apart from using the American prop for Italian glory at the event, the athlete won the 100-meter freestyle event. The swimmer finished the race in 48.36, while Dylan Carter and Zac Incerti secured the second and third positions after clocking in 48.62 and 48.88, respectively.
