In the 50-meter backstroke event, the athlete touched the wall in 26.86. She was followed by Canadian swimmers Ingrid Wilm and Kylie Masse, who secured the second and third positions by finishing the race in 27.68 and 27.68, respectively.
Amid this staunch time, McKeown set a new world record in the 50-meter breaststroke event and was also graced with $10,000 as a bonus for her persistent performances at the Swimming World Cup.
