In a clip shared by Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, a baby penguin named Regina was seen perfecting her swimming skills with the help of zookeeper Stephanie. In the caption, it said that the penguin chick has lost her fluffy feathers and has joined the adult Magellanic penguins at Penguin Point. The two-month-old chicks’ parents are Orange and Yellow. The chick, according to the assistant curator at the zoo, molted her soft feathers earlier this month and is taking an interest in water.

In the clip, her interest can be witnessed when the keeper puts her in water and she starts to roll her body after floating for a few seconds. She continues to do so many times, along with fast diving into the water and reaching the other end in a blink of an eye. It looked like she enjoyed her time swimming and came out of the pool for the first time by herself through the stairs in her swimming lessons. The post became an instant hit online and grabbed 1,400 likes, 12,000 views, and loads of comments.
