But not for Lindsey Vonn. The Alpine skier needed only her Instagram bio to impress a vital member of the Phelps family.

Michael Phelps’ son enamored by Lindsey Vonn

The legendary Lindsey Vonn is an icon of alpine skiing. With 82 world cup victories, she holds the record for most world cup race wins. Vonn is also a three-time Olympic medalist. She is also one of the most inspirational athletes in the sporting world. Owing to this and much more, Lindsey was inducted into the US Olympics Hall of Fame alongside Michael Phelps.

Phelps brought his family along at the ceremony, giving us yet another glimpse of how he tries to maximize spending time with his family. While at the ceremony, his second eldest child, Beckett (4), was fascinated by Lindsey, as evidenced by his mother, Nicole Phelps. She posted a story on her Instagram, revealing the same.

The caption on the photo read, “Beckett was so enthralled with the evening, he had me read everyone’s bios & he was enamored by you @lindseyvonn.” Vonn noted the heartwarming story and reshared it, too.

This year’s ceremony took place at the US Olympic and Paralympic Museum on the 24th of June. It was the first time since 2019 that the ceremony took place. Before 2019, the ceremony last took place in 2012. The inductees of this year included Michelle Kwan, Billie Jean King, Mia Hamm, and Pat Summitt. Also on the list of inductees was the 1976 4×100 swimming team, led by Shirley Babashoff. The 2002 men’s Paralympic sled hockey team also got the induction.
