One of the most decorated Olympians, Michael Phelps‘s advice might come in handy in the realm of swimming, but it certainly wasn’t fruitful to the Michigan Linebackers prior to their game last Saturday. In a Twitter video, Phelps was seen giving a pregame inspiration talk to the Michigan football team, which lost at the end of the day. Subsequently, fans took to the comments section to tease the legend’s effort with a wide range of reactions.
In a recent video on Twitter, posted by Brad Galli’s official handle, the legendary swimmer can be seen on the field with Michigan Linebackers’ team discussion before the game. Phelps was more enthralled and moments later, excitedly walked away from the frame.

Although Phelps seemed to enjoy a fun moment at that point, the team subsequently lost their playoffs. Unsurprisingly, enraged fans blasted the swimmer for his gesture with a range of comments.

Additionally, a great proportion of the comments reacted to Phelps’s unreliable advice since he hailed from a different field of sport. Meanwhile, others were hooked on his “man-bun.” TCU won with a 51-45 over Michigan, and will now face the reigning Georgia on January 9th.
Another instance of Michael Phelps getting roasted
Comedian Kevin Hart once dragged the swimming legend into his online mocking session with best friend, Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock. In a Twitter post by Johnson, he humorously mentioned that Hart finds his feet beautiful. To which the comedian responded as, “Ur a damn lie…Ur feet look like @MichaelPhelps hands… Their disgusting… sorry Mike lmao.”
Ah thank you Argentina. Luv u back. Our movie starts opening up worldwide next week. Kevin Hart calls my feet beautiful too. #Baywatch https://t.co/ViDQAD9d2G
— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) May 28, 2017
Hart indirectly referred to the swimmer’s gold-stroking hands as disgusting. He related Johnson’s feet to Phelps’s hands. Which however, didn’t sit quite well with The Rock. He, later on, neutralized the scene by complimenting the athlete’s hands.
