Leg 3 of the Swimming World Cup 2023 has commenced with full force and the swimmers are completely motivated to attain the goal. It’s just day 1 of Budapest and it has already witnessed spectacular performances by the athletes. One of the best events to watch was the Women’s 200m butterfly. China’s Yufei Zhang gave a performance that will stay etched in the minds of spectators for quite a long time. Just after 5 days of setting a world record in Athens, Zhang once again created another record on the opening day of Budapest. With this, she has also revealed her plans with $10,000 after being crowned with the queen status of the World Cup. Yufei Zhang has once again attained the remarkable by creating yet another world record in the 200m Butterfly. She has been unbeatable since day 1 of the Swimming World Cup and beautifully defended her title on day 1 of the last leg of the competition. She left behind some of the best athletes and proved her prowess by attaining the World Cup crown with three wins in all the stops in the 200m. With her crown, she has also received a bonus of $10,000 and has revealed the plan of utilizing the prize money.

Jumping from lane 4, the Chinese swimmer cut through the water like a bullet and touched the wall first leaving everyone behind with a huge gap. With her exceptional performance, it was absolutely clear that she was going to nab the gold and the crown is hers. She clinched gold and set another world record by clocking a time of 2:05.65. In the second position is Lana Pudar with a time of 2:08.19 and just behind her was Boglarka Kapas from Hungary with a time of 2:10.27.

After winning in the 200m Butterfly, she attained the World Cup Crown and $10,000. The Chinese swimmer plans to buy a top-notch fancy bag with the bonus money. With her achievements from the very start of this competition, she has truly proved her worth and has portrayed why she stands out from others.

China’s swimmer Yufei Zhang has delivered a commendable performance at the 2023 Swimming World Cup. Her performance in the 100m and 200m Butterfly has been unmatched in all three stops. She clinched gold with a magnificent performance on day 1 of Berlin itself. On the 6th of October, she nabbed the win by clocking a time of 2:07.11 leaving behind some of the ideal swimmers.

On the following day, 7th October 2023, she attained the second position in the Women’s 50m Butterfly. On day 3 of Berlin, she clinched gold in the 100m Butterfly with a time of 56.74. However, she didn’t stop here. She ruled over the meet 2 of the competition as well. Zhang again clinched gold in the 200m Butterfly on the 13th of October with a time of 2:06.73.

Following this, her next achievement was on 15th October 2023, where she nabbed the win again in the Women 100m butterfly with a time of 56.06 creating a world record. With her performances and scores, it is safe to say that she was incredible throughout this competition.
