Kaylee McKeown has proved her dominance in the Swimming World Cup 2023 with her consecutive delivery of phenomenal performances. She has waved the Australian flag high away from home in Germany and Greece. Amid all these remarkable feats, Kaylee McKeown shared a picture of the gift she received on her Instagram story. The picture carried a beautiful pair of white shoes that had the amalgamation of Nike’s and World Aquatic’s logos. With this, there was also a Nike x World Aquatics grey jacket. This wasn’t just any casual gift, the merchandise she received was customized with her initials on it.
To this, McKeown showing gratitude for this beautiful gift expressed, “Epic, Thank you @worldaquatics.” Considering her spectacular portrayal of talent, it is safe to say that she completely deserved this gift. Since the Swimming World Cup 2023 commenced, Kaylee Mckeown has been constantly doing her best to stand at the podium in each of her races. She has now achieved five World Cup records in five finals Australian backstroke expert Kaylee McKeown. She also attained the second-fastest swim of all time behind Liu Xiang’s 26.98 from 2018 by nabbing the win in the 50-meter backstroke, putting the Canadian duo Ingrid Wilm and Kylie Masse behind.
Prior to this, the Australian swimmer was the third-fastest performer in history after creating her best of 27.08 from her smooth backstroke sweep at the 2023 World Championships this summer. However, she has now surpassed Zhao Jing’s performance to attain the second position. She has again given the same phenomenal performance on Day 3 of Athens beating the same Canadian duo in the 100 backstroke.

This win of 57.63 has tied McKeown for the sixth-fastest swim ever. Along with this, she owns all the top six of seven performances of all time. This is the fastest October swim on record by more than half a second ahead of another Australian swimmer, Emily Seebohm.
