Michael Phelps is internationally known for his swimming talents. The flying fish has won more medals than any other Olympian and is an inspiration to millions of people. Phelps’ popularity led him to appear in many national and international interviews.

Michael Phelps gets asked about his training hours, fitness goals, and diet, and sometimes he also comes across silly questions. In an interview with IGN Sports once, Phelps opened up about one of the stupidest questions people ask him.

Phelps reveals the empty-headed question he gets asked

In July 2005, Michael?Phelps?was asked if Aquaman was his favorite superhero. Phelps replied that he has no favorites, and this is not the first time someone has asked him this question. Phelps?said, “I don’t have a favorite, and you would not be the first to ask that question.

Aquaman is a DC Comics superhero who can breathe underwater and swim the fastest of all. Michael Phelps and Aquaman share traits, but Phelps thinks this is one of the stupidest questions he gets asked.

Michael Phelps was asked another “stupid question” in the same interview. The interviewer asked,?“Are your hands and feet really prune-like after that long in the pool? And is this a stupider question than the Aquaman thing?” Phelps laughed and said that it might be.

In another interview with Bloomberg Quicktake, Phelps revealed that his 5-year-old son, Boomer, also calls him Aquaman. Phelps?said, “He calls me Aquaman. But I don’t think he fully gets it yet. He always says he’s like, can you beat that person? And I say, Look back in the day, yes. Not anymore, though.

Phelps was also asked about his swimming practices in the interview. Phelps revealed that he swims six days a week, for two to five hours daily. Michael also claimed that he doesn’t follow any strict diet and focuses on taking in as many calories as possible.
