There’s not much in common between boxing and swimming, except for the two legends sharing the birthday on the same date. Michael and Mike both have their birthday on June 30. Of course, there’s an age difference of 19 years between the two, but perhaps their stars are aligned in the same order. Although when it comes to dedication and hard work, they both have a lot in common here as well.
Well, if you also share your birthday with these two remarkable sports personalities, consider yourself lucky and start working towards your goals. After all, you already got the much-needed motivation to start with.
15-year-old nearly touches Phelps’ record
It’s been six years since the legend said goodbye to swimming. While most of his records remain untouched, there was one that was nearly broken by a 15-year-old swimmer recently. In the world championship trials, Thomas Heilman clocked a record time of 1:58.01 seconds in the 200m butterfly.
However, the record for the fastest -year-old in US history is still under the name of Michael Phelps.

Heilman might have missed the record by a mere 2 seconds, but still, it’s a great achievement. Before this record, he was also the second-best in the 13-14 age category besides Michael.
As he gathers a little more experience, perhaps the kid would be unstoppable and a serious threat to Michael Phelps’ swimming records.
