The Swimming World Cup 2023 came across multiple thrilling performances, but nothing could match the level of Qin Haiyang’s and Kaylee McKeown’s performances. They both have been smoothly defending their title since the very first leg of the competition. Both of them stood on top of the podium in the first two legs of the World Cup which made them move closer to the $1000,000 bonus. They attained what they wished and worked hard for, on day 3 of the competition.

Even before day 3 could come to an end, they were already declared as the winners with the highest points and the perfectly deserved winners of the $100,000 prize money. McKeown has attained triple crowns in all three backstroke events. She stood out in all 50-100-200- meter backstroke events with her commendable skills in all three stops. Qin Haiyang on the other hand clinched gold in all three stops in the breaststroke events.

All legs of the Swimming World Cup 2023 witnessed some of the greatest performances of all time by Qin Haiyang and Kaylee McKeown. Both these athletes have raised the bar extremely high for all the swimmers. The Australian swimmer made extraordinary records from meet 1 and there was nothing stopping her till leg 3 of the competition. After making world records in both the meets in backstroke events, the swimmer again made a new world record on day 3 in the 50-meter backstroke.

She clinched gold by touching the wall in an impressive 26.86 seconds, this win was the first Swimming World Cup 2023 world record. With this, she also received a crown and a prize of $10,000 for the clear victory. Qin Haiyang also attained the status of one of the most successful breaststrokers, as he once again won the 100-metre breaststroke finals with a stupendous finish of 57.82 seconds.

With this, the swimmer also achieved the rare sub-58 along with a crown and $10,000 bonus prize. He has attained multiple other wins to secure the well-deserved title of the ultimate winner on the last day. Both the swimmers with their unbeatable skills have etched their name on the history books.
