Apart from his swimming legacy, Michael Phelps is also called out for his charm and his mesmerizing personality. Ever since his first professional tournament in the early 2000s, the American grace has had fans crushing on him for his looks. Not to mention, the list hasn’t been just restricted to commoners but also celebrities. Topping the list is the American actress, Lindsay Lohan.

Going back in time, in 2008, Lindsay Lohan made it to the headlines for her Fan-Girling message for Michael Phelps. While the message created a buzz in the entertainment and sports world, what overshadowed it was the reaction of Phelp’s mother.
Lindsay Lohan receives a reply from Michael Phelps’ mother
Before the start of the Beijing Olympics, Lindsay wished Phelps good luck. However, little did she know that the 2008 Olympic games were a life-changing event for the Maryland-born swimmer.
During the games, Michael Phelps wrote his name in the history books by becoming the first-ever swimmer to win 8 medals at a single Olympic game. While Phelps celebrated the feat in China with his teammates, it was his mother, Debbie Phelps who was invited for a candid TV interview.

The interview kicked off on a high note. However, going ahead in the interview, the host, renowned television personality Billy Bush, took out his blackberry phone to show Debbie, Lindsay’s message for her son. “Tell him he’s f****** amazing, and I want to meet him,” the message read.
Being a feeling of many, the message received huge appreciation in the form of cheer. However, the same happiness wasn’t visible on the face of Phelps’ mother, Debbie. Replying to the ‘mean girl’ fame actress, Debbie said, “OK, Lindsay!!! — Delete! … Delete!”

Going back in time, in 2004, Michael Phelps was questioned about a Hollywood actress he would like to meet. To which, he replied, Lindsay Lohan. “She’s pretty hot,” he answered.
