Summers are here and one would decipher ways to escape the rising temperature. And nothing beats a swim in the pool on a hot summer weekend. But imagine the pool you have visited turned out to be crowded with 50 more people. Nothing more can be frightening. And in the post-COVID era such scenarios are the least desired.? However, such crowded pools are common scenes in Daqing?Heiyu Lake water resort, China.?
People with agoraphobia might panic looking at the men, women, and children in the video flocking in the pool with yellow lifebuoys mimicking a bowl of cereal. A resurfaced video shared by UNILAD left netizens bewildered as they witnessed something unusual. The post soon went viral soon with a whopping 4.9 million views and 11 thousand comments.

The visuals from the video can be described as a pool of humans instead of a pool of water as the water surface is clearly covered with more than 50 people ramming into one another in a water resort, in China?s Daquing area.? Clear dismay among the pool-goers could be noticed as they protect themselves from colliding with one another.
The scenes are common as the park is a frequent destination for residents who would want to reduce the summer heat with a cool splash of pool water. But what the video suggests is anything but recreation. The enormous crowd instills fear of communicable diseases and unhygienic conditions in the minds of netizens. And the dangers of drowning or asphyxiation need not be explicitly said. The video is enough to cause panic attacks in netizens. And the comments on the video reflect much more than this.
