Seven-time Olympic medalist and swimmer Katie Ledecky recently shared a rather interesting photo of herself on social media. The photograph features a smiling Ledecky in front of her personalized Christmas decorations.

In the Instagram post made by Katie Ledecky, on December 17, 2022, she can be seen holding up a drink as she cheers with her fans in the spirit of the holidays.

Katie Ledecky got a special Christmas tree

The historic swimmer with 19 world championship titles under her belt seems ecstatic about her new Christmas tree. The tree can be seen in the backdrop, lit up for Christmas. It is a rather small one compared to traditional Christmas trees. Ledecky writes in her post “Yes, I need to get a bigger tree but at least it’s sparkling.”

A second image also features three cans of different flavored LaCroix, seated neatly beneath Ledecky’s miniature Christmas tree. A gorgeous pot of poinsettias also brightens up the frame.

Fans wished the swimmer a merry Christmas

The 25-year-old hailing from Washington made her fans very happy by sharing the Christmas cheer. The 577K followers on Instagram filled the post with heartfelt comments, admiring her Christmas tree and wishing the athlete a merry Christmas.

“Cheers,” wrote one fan. “La Queen” wrote the next. One fan wished her a merry Christmas and wrote “That reminds me I need to buy some LaCroix for the family gathering.” One fan resonated with Ledecky’s sentiments and said, “Love the little tree and your glass it’s lovely…the spirit of Christmas is in the air!!” One fan simply stated, “Christmas is in the heart. Your tree is perfect!”
