Besides swimming, what did Michael Phelps play?
When asked if he plays any video games now or in the past, the legend revealed that he was a big-time Call of Duty fan. Michael said, “When I was swimming, we played a ton of COD. I wish I could go back and look at the stats. I mean, we go to Colorado Springs to the Olympic training centers. And we would all bring our X boxes. I’m not kidding.”
Well, given the popularity of the game, killing some time after a rigorous swimming routine only makes sense. However, playing COD was more than a side activity for the legend. Michael further added, “We play like 2500 matches in three weeks. Like literally nonstop.” Swimming, sleeping, eating, and playing video games. That’s it for 26 days. Video game for me is awesome.”

Will Phelps ever come back to swimming?
After his retirement in 2014, the legend did make a comeback in the 2016 Rio Olympics. However, taking a u-turn now at the age of 36 seems a little far-fetched. Although the question is not about his potential, but rather about his choice to go through the same competitive environment and lifestyle once again.
Michael Phelps has led an incredible career and the only reason he should ever look back is to feel proud of what he has accomplished.
