Sir Richard Branson is in his early seventies, something you’d never guess by just looking at him. And despite being old enough to be considered a senior citizen, Branson has an epic workout routine that he religiously follows to maintain his health and fitness. Kite surfing forms a major part of the British magnate’s routine. According to MarketWatch, Richard Branson believes that kite surfing could be the key to unlocking the secrets of anti-aging.

Is it possible to live up to 150 years if one regularly indulges in kite surfing? There might not be professional research studies answering this question yet, but for Branson, the answer is in the affirmative. He says, “I just want to be sure that when I’m 150, my body still looks as good as it is today.” In fact, the billionaire loves the sport so much, that he once crossed the English channel while kite surfing. Now comes the question, is kite surfing healthy? If yes, what are its health benefits?

According to Infinity Sport Kite Surfing, the sport has immense benefits for one’s physical as well as mental health. Kite surfing is a great way to strengthen one’s abdominal area, which results in a physical improvement of the abductors, glutes, and legs too. This activity combines aerobics with resistance exercises, which contribute to the toning and strengthening of muscles. It seems like Branson might be onto something here.
