Recently, a dangerous shark attack took place in Western Australia at Cheynes Beach Caravan Park. According to a report by 9 news, the shark attacked the woman surfing on the beach, biting and chipping away a part of the surfer’s board. All the details of this incident are finally disclosed.
As per sources, the attack took place prior to 8 am on 16th March 2023. After the attack, a report also emerged that the beach will be closed to the public for at least 24 hours. Alan Marsh, the manager of the beach, also gave the latest update about the incident.

According to 9news, a shark that was 5 metres long came close to the female surfer surfing at the beach. At that time, the woman surfing was 100 metres away from the shore. In a hair-raising encounter, the shark bit at the female surfer’s board, causing the female surfer to fall into the water. Luckily, the shark didn’t cause grievous injuries and went back into the waters.
Afterwards, the beach manager Alan Marsh shed more light on the incident. He revealed that the woman attacked was from New South Wales and had come surfing with an acquaintance. Further, he related the woman and her companion’s reaction after the attack.“They seemed fine…they said it won’t stop them from visiting the beach; they love going in the water”, Marsh spoke.
Post this, Marsh also expressed that there were teeth marks on the female surfer’s surfboard. A report also stated that the tests were now being performed on the board to ascertain which type of shark attacked. This is not the only shark attack that caught the attention of the surfing community. A surfing enthusiast named Jared Trainor also faced a deadly shark attack, which alarmed many surfing fans. After the incident, Trainor narrated his unforgettable encounter with the shark.

Trainor related everything about his encounter with the shark to a newsfeed named ‘The Times-Standard.” The 31-year-old was surfing at the crucial time when sharks migrate towards the west. Trainor described, “Its lower jaws had the board and the upper jaws had my leg.”

Further, Trainor told how the incident took place in the blink of an eye. According to reports, the 31-year-old surfer attacked the shark with his leg till the shark released him. Afterwards, Trainor swam to the shore, later going to the hospital to get his treatment. Speaking post this chilling encounter, Trainor expressed his gratitude at being alive.
