Surfing, California, and surfing in California are three things that never run out of surprises. A surfer from Pismo Beach, California, has been surfing with real goats. No, not Kelly Slater, but actual, literal goats. Dana McGregor hits the beaches along with his pet goats and is popularly known as the Goatfather by locals.

What started as a fun activity later turned into something significant. McGregor and his goats quickly became a tourist attraction in Pismo Beach. A recently uploaded video showing McGregor surfing with his goats is going viral on social media. The footage is drawing a lot of attention from netizens who are expressing their love for the surfer and his adorable goats.

Surfing Goatfather loves all ‘kids’

Dana McGregor is a cheerful man who loves both surfing and working with kids – both goat kids and human kids. In fact, McGregor now involves his goats in a variety of fun activities. He pedals with them on a paddleboard, surfs, and even plays soccer with them. McGregor’s goats are more than just playthings. The goats help McGregor run his Beautifully Abled Surf Camp. The camp is dedicated to helping disabled children experience the joy of surfing.

McGregor and his goats collaborate, providing numerous children with the joy and freedom of surfing. The Goatfather also manages various social media pages where he shares posts about his exciting adventures with his adorable goats.

Dana McGregor organizes various events and promotes them through his social media page. These delightful gatherings attract significant attendance, and people have a great time. Currently, McGregor is traveling across California and visiting multiple beaches with two of his goats, Chupacabrah and Grover. Chupacabrah holds a special place among the beloved goats in the Goatfather’s crew. The audience cheered for this young, one-year-old goat and eagerly took out their phones to capture its surfing adventure. McGregor shared the video on his Instagram account, which quickly gained traction online. The exuberant display of young Chupacabrah and McGregor brought joy to the audience and garnered much appreciation.

Raking in the affection

The video showed the young goat surfing through the majestic waves while McGregor assisted it. McGregor uploaded the video with the caption, “Chupacabrah’s first tandem surf!!!” One of the fans reacted to the video and said, “One day I’m going to be surfing with my goats too!” Several fans also complimented the young goat on his maiden surfing experience. “Go Chupe Go!” said one of the fans while another one said, “Chupe is charging!”
