Staying True to His Adrenaline Rush, Surfing YouTuber on a Hurricane Challenge Continues to Dominate East Coast

Hurricane Lee is raging across the East Coast now, forcing all residents to seek shelter in their homes. The bellowing winds and the crashing waves make it look like the apocalypse is nigh. It has already claimed one life and may cause even more devastation as the situation is predicted to worsen. While this has filled the hearts of ordinary men with fear and premonition, two surfing paragons have embraced the challenge.

Ben Gravy saw this as an opportunity. He was bored riding novelty waves in New Jersey and was looking forward to a heart-stopping adventure. With his trusty fiberglass shortboard and fellow surfing buddy Jacob “Zeke” Szekely by his side, he set out to conquer the monstrous waves. The videos of their thrilling rides and jaw-dropping stunts have captured the internet and drawn attention to their death-defying exploits.

Ben Gravy has vlogged his adventures in New Jersey for the whole world to see on YouTube. According to Surfer, Gravy captioned his vlog, “We’ve seen a lot from Hurricane Lee. It’s provided everything from fun surf to bombing swell here on the East Coast & it’s exciting to chase the storm & see what happens next. Hopefully we can continue to score great surf for the rest of Lee & the season in general. Thanks for all of the stoke & positive support FOR THE DREAM!! – Ben”. The waves on the video looked more like a Tsunami than the regular surf that the Gravy knew.

Zeke, on the other hand, had some experience of surfing during a hurricane. Before he came to New Jersey, the Cali was chasing Hurricane Jova waves. Despite his inexperience, Gravy was sure-footed on the surfboard and dropped some of the wildest moves. The latest video from the surfing ace contains 20-minute footage of barrels, big bombs, and friendly banter. Ben Gravy and Jacob Szekely had more weapons in their arsenal other than the surfboard to conquer the waves in New Jersey.

Gravy could not contain his excitement watching the big waves break on the New Jersey shore. He was looking forward to this exact moment for many months, and now that it was here, he did not want to lose one moment of it. When the waves got too dangerous for surfing, Ben Gravy and Jacob Szekely dared the ocean in a jet ski. On the first day of the hurricane surf session, the duo used the jetski to reach the location to catch some glassy surf. However, the waves stayed below their expectations, and the session ended in disappointment.

Now, they have fulfilled the desire to surf the hurricane waves to their heart’s content. With this major victory under his belt, Gravy is feeling more confident in himself. Who knows, he might soon start chasing the hurricane waves across the country without a partner.
