Surfing and acting are totally two parallel professions and it takes much talent and determination to rock each. A teenage surfer showed the possibility of gracefully handling both. An 18-year-old Australian pro surfer is famous for riding the waves ever since she could land on her feet. She has always been a surfing enthusiast and has won a few accolades for the same. But the athlete is now better known for her role in Netflix Series ‘Surviving Summer.’ The series manifests the story of young high school teens enjoying the waves after getting expelled from school.
The show was released in 2022 in which the young surfer played the character of Poppy Tetanui, a Samoan-Australian surfer. Her character portrays a young ambitious mind who misses her later mother. The show was a hit and had great reviews from critics and fans, without any adult content in it. Making such a crowd-puller entertainment piece requires a great amount of time with focus. And luckily, the young surfer Lilliana Bowrey was able to manage both surfing and shooting gracefully and she illustrated this new journey. She explained everything, from how her surfing zeal landed her to acting.
