“Little Beast”: 12 Y.O. Surfing Prodigy Earns the Netizens’ Respect With Jaw-Dropping Aerial Maneuver

In 2023, U.S.A. Surfing announced the 2023/2024 U.S.A. Surfing Junior National Team. Among the lineup of underage mainland surfing talents was Eden Walla of San Clemente. The talented surfer is part of the U.S.A.’s U16 national team but dreams of trading waves with Stephanie Gilmore one day. Interestingly, she isn’t the only prodigy in the Walla clan with a passion for surfing.

Just like his older sister, Zion Walla is a natural trickster on the surfboard. Both groms began perfecting their skills when they were toddlers. Now, Eden Walla has shined the spotlight on the marvellous abilities of his brother, who has the makings of a champion.

Zion Walla’s impeccable surfing skills

Eden Walla, a U16 national team member, was invited to the popular Couch Surfing Show. During her correspondence with the show’s hosts, she flipped the lens from herself onto Zion. The Couch Surfing Show demonstrated the talents of the young surfing legend in an I.G. video. Captioned, “@zionwalla eyeballs the section and goes full send! 2hr show now live you know where 🤫 #surf #surfing” the video brought out the young wave rider’s fearless maneuvers of the rising swells. Thereafter, the hosts were enamoured by the footage of Zion’s ocean mastery to consider anything else. Abiding by his sister’s estimation of him riding “like a driver”, Zion Walla flawlessly executed an air-flip that took everyone’s breath away.

The epic move was so mindblowing that the hosts desired a replay of the clip. Even then, they could not satiate their excitement and shared the video with an overlay text. The text said, “12yo surfer hits huge air at famous waves”. Their expert analysis of Zion Walla’s air flip with the slob grab, and the subsequent round of applause highlighted the young surfer’s exceptional talent. The fans could not hide their joy and filled in Zion Walla’s prospectus of glory with heartfelt comments.

Finally, one had levied the most noteworthy encomium, praising, “Most control I’ve ever seen for a 12yo”.
