Andrew had made a solid fanbase from his YouTube channel in the past few years. He is also a big surfing lover. Andrew has often mentioned his childhood dream of becoming a surfer. On December 2nd, Andrew joined Patrick Bet and David for a podcast and made some big revelations.
Andrew Schulz’s choice of school made the difference
In the podcast, Andrew Schulz revealed that he never wanted to become a stand-up comedian. His primary goal was to get his name in the surfing world. “I used to love surfing as a child,” he said.

Andrew was born in Manhattan and was dedicated to continuing surfing along with his education. He wanted a college that would facilitate his hobby. “I wanted a school where I could go and Surf”, he told Patrick. He chose the university of California to pursue further studies. However, destiny had other things planned for him.
The YouTube star further revealed that the chance of getting on the came out of nowhere. He said, “I was managing a restaurant which had a comedy night randomly, and they asked me if I wanted to try it.” The offer was impromptu shocked Andrew.
An offer that changed everything for Andrew Schulz
Andrew always liked the idea of talking to people but never dared to get on the stage. But the encouragement from the people worked as a confidence booster for him. He went off the stage unprepared, but eventually made the best impression on people. “I tried, I loved it, I came back and I never looked back,” he admitted.
