The Sun Bum is giving new ways to the sport of surfing. Over the years, the company is finding new faces, new talents, and new styles. Their agenda is simple. Recently, they visited a beach in Southern Jamaica to discover the next surfing genius.

Upon arrival, that place was jam packed with surfers who were just enjoying the day floating away with their boards. Here is how Sun Bum found their next winner at the Jamaican beach.

The Sun Bum is always in search of surfing talents. As they rallied into the Jamaican beach, they dropped a few umbrellas in the sand and started their talent hunt right away. After witnessing some perfect airbrush landings and numerous successful flips, the judges—Icah Wilmot, Shama Beckford, and Imani Wilmot—found their winner in Ellim Beckford.

That day, JD MacFaden, a local surfer of Oceanside, etched his name at the event and won the $1000 prize. Likewise, Jerry Lehman and Ker Porter won in Henderson beach and in Malibu respectively.
